I Just Want to Review An article.. here's the link : http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn14525
Review :
MRAM is one like a fusion of the
best of two world, being SRAM and DRAM, as well as the ability to retain data
like flash memory. MRAM is faster than SRAM but as cheap to produce as DRAM.
I think the development issues
are related to the density of the memory, as one has to avoid a single cell to
influence another.
But with the electromagnetic
technology which is more sensible to magnet, i think maybe it will cause a
several problems… how if we place a piece of magnet? will it corrupt?
And just like the other new
invented technology, we would want to make some "configuration” to make it
works with our devices… From here, we got a question… can we still overclock at
this MRAM??
i really hope that the problem
that i mentioned above had been solved so we could use the new invented
technology at handy and cheap
Conclusion: MRAM is the memory of the future being fast, cheap,
reliable, but it's development to become economically viable keeps it out of
reach for the moment.
